The Salon

For a boat of this size, the salon is very spacious and comfortable. Once you step into it, you will be greated with nice wood work, reasonably new carpets and a wonderful 300 degree view that also makes it extremely easy and comfortable to steer the boat from here. First, we started driving on the flybridge but we quickly realized that the salon is the much calmer under heavy seas and especially rain.

On the free wall side to starboard, we had a 65" TV accompanied by a Harman Kardon SB26 subwoofer and sound bar. This made for an incredible cinema experience in the evenings.

The radio built into the bar powers very nice JBL speakers for entertainment on the go. When we bought the boat, these were completely miswired and sounded extremely strange (wrong polarity on different speakers, cold solder joints on the electronics...) but I spend a day fixing all that and am very happy with the results! Fantastic for jazz and blues!

We tinted the window to the aft deck as the sun coming in from that side during sunset was blazing bright. The tint makes it much more managable.

The sky is in absolutely mint shape. It's made from very durable material that very forgiving when accidentally hit by a VR controller. It was built into the boat by a true perfectionist as it doesn't have a single wrinkle and even tension throughout.

The curtains are new! We custom fitted them for the boat.

The Galley

New Dinette and new Fridge

This year, we completely redid the dinette. I believe the upholstery was original and the different is day and night. We went with very nice alcantara-style fabric in Teal which gives the boat a very elegant and fresh note.

We also replaced the very small 12V fridge that iced up every two weeks with an ice free house hold fridge which has almost twice the volume and a proper freezer. It's about the largest fridge that can be installed here and radically improved the feel and usability of the galley overall - especially for live-aboard

The oven is original and works great. It runs hotter than what the scale says, though, so I measured the temperatures and added a new scale to it. Since then, we never burned anything ever again. It's a great oven and I wouldn't change it - unless maybe for a dishwasher.
The microwave is very powerful and heats food nice even evenly, we used it a lot.

The Master Statement

Spacious Room with Queen Size Bed

The Master has a good balance between storage space, light from port holes, and bed size. One of the previous owners had the wonderful custom teak closet space installed on top of the existing counter top space. This makes the Master much more usable than on her sister ships where storage for clothing is really an issue.

The second and really large hanging closet is prepared for a washer dryer combo but we used it as a normal hanging closet with enough space to store our luggage bags and vacuum cleaner plus shoes. The third closet is behind the door and also provides ample space for jackets, sweaters, and in our case two full sets of motorcycle cloths.

Comfortable Vanity and Storage

On the port side of the Master is the ladies vanity. A wonderfully lit space (we are going to replace all vanity lights with LED lights for her new owner) that my wife used every day to prepare for her yoga and pilates classes or when we went for a night out. The mirror is large and offers additional storage behind its frame. On that side is also yet another custom closet made from teak in great condition!

The Guest Stament / Office

Office Conversion

When we purchased the Adventure, it was nicely staged and we were wowed how comfy everything looked. When we used it for the first time, we realized that the mattresses in the guest statement where of the cheapest foam and so thin one could not sleep on it. That was the moment, I decided to convert this space to an office and dumped the foam.

This provided enormous amounts of desk space such that I could do my personal projects there and also do work from as well. It is still set up this way and foam is easy to get and cut to size. However, we will leave this to the new owner (we can help, of course), as we believe a lot of people will appreciate the office space rather than having an empty guest room most of the time.

Among many other things, I used this space as a simulator cockpit to practice for my private pilot certificate.

The Heads

Fresh Water, Salt Water, Clean

We converted the Master head to fresh water to eliminate the possibility of clogged hoses due to crytalinazation. This can be easily changed back to salt water by simply changing the state of two water valves and one switch to activate the raw water pump and turn off the fresh water pressure solinoid. Both circuits are protected from each other and cross-contamination is not possibe once the valves are set.
Both heads are in excellent shape, very clean, and function as expected.
